The Club

Woodley Wanderers are a local grass roots football club who take pride in wearing their green shirts. Woodley Wanderers inspire young people to reach their full potential as individuals and as part of a team.

Established in 1971, it is the oldest club in it’s current guise in Woodley, providing a pathway for mini kickers (reception and year one children) through to our adult teams. It is it the team your Dad, sister, cousin, uncle and (increasingly) grandad played for.

One of the first teams in the area to achieve FA Charter Standard Status, we are a friendly family club. The journey is more than about football, and we are all about creating fun and enriching experiences, to look back on fondly for years to come.

We are about creating and developing great people on and off the pitch.

Enjoyment. Enjoyment on and off the pitch is paramount. Woodley Wanderers celebrate individual growth as well as team triumphs.
